Learning is always more fun when you play a crazy game like Catch Phrase!

Earlier in the summer - a group of North Central SLI students from Qatar visited Chicago for the day. We had Chicago style deep dish Pizza from Giordanos.
Took lots of pictures at the Buckingham fountain - we even watched the fountain shoot 150 feet into the air! We walked through Millenium Park and saw lots of wedding groups. Then we ended our day at Navy Pier.

Our BCCC Intermediate Grammar and Writing class had so much fun playing these games while they reviewed their grammar during Thursday night!

International Snacks

For the last day of Practical Writing II I asked the students to bring in a snack from their country to share with everyone. We had a great response and all got to try something new.

Drinks: An unknown Polish Berry Drink, Coke & Pepsi (of course they're international), and some Tamarindo from Mexico.
